Founded in 1847, the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) is the earliest academic institution of mechanical engineering in the world with more than 90,000 members worldwide. IMechE is also a UK legal mechanical engineer qualification agency. Professional Engineering Publishing (PE Press) is a wholly-owned publisher of the British Society of Mechanical Engineers and publishes information articles written by world-class engineers, including magazines, periodicals, books, conferences and symposia proceedings. The famous Proceedings of IMechE (16) is now published by PEP. This series of journals has a long history since 1847. Its high quality is recognized by mechanical engineering researchers and practitioners worldwide and is a must-have for all institutions of higher learning. Among the 18 publications in ImechE, 17 Included by JCR and 17 by SCI, accessible through the full-text database of PE Press, including the full Proceedings of IMechE series of journals, all dating back to the first issue.
